Marine Fuel Polishing Service
Our marine fuel polishing service incorporates state-of-the-art technology to ensure the highest standards of tank and fuel cleanliness and contamination removal. The fuel polishing and filteration equipment is securely mounted on a durable, battery-powered, four-wheel trolley, engineered for seamless maneuverability across diverse terrains. This advanced design enhances operational efficiency while minimizing effort, making it ideal for accessing hard-to-reach locations.
To further optimize performance, our system includes a cutting-edge, remote-controlled, silent generator. This ensures a continuous and reliable power supply without causing noise pollution, preserving the tranquility of the surrounding environment. This feature is particularly vital when navigating narrow towpaths to service a stranded vessel, allowing for smooth and efficient transport of critical equipment.
Equipped with advanced filtration to 1 micron for removal of baciteria and the removal of water saturaded in your fuel to 100ppm, our system excels in the removal of contamination, effectively eliminating water, microbial growth, sludge, and particulate matter from you tank and fuel fuel. This meticulous purification process restores fuel quality to optimal levels, preventing engine failure and enhancing operational reliability. Whether deployed in marine, industrial, or off-grid applications, our innovative fuel polishing setup ensures clean, refind fuel, safeguarding both equipment and the enviroment.
Marine Fuel & Tank Cleaning Equipment

Equipment Used
Magnetic filter to remove rust.
1 Micron filter needed to remove diesel bug spores.
100ppm water filters x 2 to refine the fuel.
20 lpm pump to disturb the contamination.
Various lances to reach all areas of the tank.
The Process
- Remove the free water which is laying in the bottom of your tank along with the layer of contamination floating between the water and your diesel.
- Disturb remaining contamination by circulating the fuel at 20lts per minute at 25psi outlet pipe.
- Remove the construction dust and rust.
- Saturate the remaining puddles of water in the bottom of the tank into the fuel.
- Filter out the water saturated in your fuel.
It takes approximately 3 hours to thoroughly clean a narrowboat tank and fuel – 4 to 5 hours for a wide beam.
Why Tank And Fuel Cleaning Is Important
Prevents Engine Damage – Contaminated fuel can clog filters, damage injectors.
Reduces Water Content – Water in fuel promotes microbial growth and rust inside tanks.
Extends Fuel Life – Diesel degrades over time, forming sludge and particulates.
Ensures Reliability – Your engine needs clean fuel to operate.
